About the Host
My name is Isa, I have been a community radio programmer in the Burlington VT area for the past 9 years. I am Asian-American, trans and nonbinary and use they/them pronouns. I love music as well as anime, cats.
I have been doing this show, GREEN BUBBLE TEA for a little over 6 years now. The original format of the show was exclusively showcasing East Asian music & discussing East Asian pop culture, particularly K-Pop, J-Pop, & anime music. We still do that on GREEN BUBBLE TEA, but we do other things as well. There are a lot of themed shows and sets, including Halloween shows in October, Pride themed shows in June, Black History Month shows in Feb.
