DJ Flower Power

DJ Flower Power got her start in 2021 at her college’s radio station in Ithaca, New York. Combining a passion for rock and roll with her education in history, she created The Hippie Hour – a show that has been loved by many for 3 years running! When she’s not in the studio, you can find her antiquing, record shopping (she has over 600 records!), roller skating, or playing Stardew Valley. She is new to the Burlington area and hopes to continue her history education at UVM in the future. Until then, check out her show every Friday from 4-6pm, and follow her journey on social media!

From genres like psychedelic and garage rock to folk, baroque pop, and even country, nothing is off-limits! Every episode is a new experience – with themed episodes centered around historical events, marginalized communities, and much more, you’re bound to learn a thing or two along the way.
