Future Days is a listening adventure through the stratosphere and underworld of global music history, legends and lore. Drawing its name from the cosmic 1973 album by the band Can, the show explores the song behind the song in genres from blues to punk, classical music to Ethiopian jazz. As Damo Suzuki enigmatically sings on the title track of Future Days, “You better move year on your face/You hide behind a borrowed chase/For the sake of future days.”
