DJ Adru is the host of Hispanic Worlds, a Spanish-language radio talk show in Vermont. She is also a Spanish faculty member at the University of Vermont (UVM), where she combines language education, community engagement, and media production to create meaningful opportunities for students to connect with Spanish-speaking communities.
Through Hispanic Worlds, DJ Adru brings her experience as an educator and radio host together, creating a space for conversations about Hispanic cultures, music, identity, community, and contemporary issues. The program also features podcasts produced by UVM Spanish students, giving students the opportunity to develop their Spanish-language communication skills while sharing diverse voices and stories with a broader Vermont audience.
