Celebrate Community Media Day with WBTV-LP!

Community Media Day is an annual event that celebrates and brings awareness to the importance of free speech and accessible media for the millions of community mediamakers and citizen journalists who tell their unique stories every year. Community Media Day is officially October 20, and often aligns with Free Speech Week.

WBTV-LP transmits a chorus of community voices every day. We are incredibly grateful for the diverse experiences and stories our programmers bring to the booth. Please consider becoming a member of our station, spread the word about shows you love, and lend your support to the Media Factory.

Every Day Halloween!

Thank you to all of our community producers who shared work with us for Haloween! Check out our lineup of spooktacular stuff at https://www.mediafactory.org/halloween and stay tuned for updates about creepy, awesome WBTV-LP theme shows!

A Tribute to Pete Seeger from Clearwater Friends

On June 23rd, Rik Palieri & Jason Baker hosted “A Tribute to Pete Seeger from Clearwater Friends” for a special episode of Folk Talk with Rik Palieri and it was simply amazing. Along with the absolutely beautiful music, it was impressive to witness this wonderful group of eight musicians playing a full, live show in our little booth!
