The WBTV-LP Radio Advisory Council (RAC) is excited to announce our next All Station Meeting on Monday, January 30 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Media Factory & studio location at 208 Flynn Ave. here in Burlington.
The meeting will include:
- a potluck (so please bring something to share),
- a chance for programmers (training or trained) to meet each other, network, and mingle,
- an update from the RAC on the station building (streaming & what is next)
- and some committee building & planning for programmers and members to plug into next steps toward further building a sustainable station in 2017.
We also invite all programmers and supporting members to join us before the all station meeting for the RAC rom 5:30-7 p.m. for the RAC meeting (same location), where we will be discussing the 2017 station budget (very important) and other station sustaining topics that will help frame the next year.
These meetings are always open to the public, but we encourage everyone to attend this time around to learn more in depth what we are tackling and to also consider running for a RAC position when we hold the election process sometime in 2017.
You can catch up on past RAC meeting minutes here.
If you have questions about the RAC email me (thelluvia@gmail.com) or my co-chair Bill Simmon: bill@vermontcam.org.
