Soundtrack of My Life – A Cabot Student Project from WGDR

A few months back students from Cabot School in Cabot, VT visited the VCAM and soon to be WBTV-LP studio space to get a tour, learn about community media and to sit down with Llu Mulvaney-Stanak, VCAM’s Outreach & Development Director and WBTV-LP’s co-station builder leader, (also aka DJ Llu) to talk about the art of a mixtape. Llu shared lots of opinions about the impact of mixtapes and their power to tell stories, but our favorite line was: “no computer is ever going to be as smart as a human being on anything, let alone on music which is this super fine art of the [human] ear.”

The students just finished the first few episodes of this project and it is awesome.
